High School Objectives (in 2010)
• Consolidate and improve the knowledge the student has acquired in elementary school - the continuation of their studies.
•Prepare the student for obstacles they will face in the real world by helping them focus on core values that will make them successful.
• Improve the student as a person, creating in them a way to be independent as well as to have good ethics and to be able to think critically.
• Understand the fundamentals of scientific and technological processes, relating theory with practice in each area.
The three High School years observe the annual required 800 hours (200 school days). It is the final stage of basic education prior to college and/or university.
High School
Grade Level 10 to Grade Level 12 (15 to 17 years)
Brazilian Curriculum : Portuguese, History of Brazil and the World, Psychology, Philosophy, Geography of Brazil and the World, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Physical Education, Arts.
American curriculum: Advanced studies in English - Offered to students with fluency in English who wish to join a university outside Brazil.
